I'm not sure about the upper. But in the lower arch with an adult with this much crowding, I'm
thinking about extracting two incisors. It will shorten treatment and make things a lot easier. ■

Wow! That would certainly make things a lot easier! I'll do virtual setup to be safe, but that
certainly seems like the best option.
Here are the thoughts of a classmate who isn't on Orthotown:
"This is a weird case. I kept staring at it and finally came up with this: Extract U3s, extract
LR4 or 3 (depending on what you want for symmetry) and extract LL2. The LL3 will become
the lateral incisor. However, do not do this until you get an iTero scan and work up how it will
look. I love using Invisalign as a virtual setup tool." ■
