message board Progress 11/14/19 Asymmetric nance used to protract UL7. UL3-UL5 were coligated under the wire and the UL7 was protracted using power chain UL3-UL6 bypassing the UL4 and 5. Class III elastics were also used on the left side using 10-hour force theory. The asymmetric nance helps to prevent upper midline drift during protraction of the UL7. Be aware that using power chain UR6-UL7 could cause the midline to drift more easily. That's why I chose to use the short power chain UL6-UL3. Also note the size of the nance button.
