I enjoy camouflage treatment with Class 3s. Here is a case that I think would break traditional views but was treated successfully. I think your case is easier than this. I have many cases but, honestly, I don't have them all written down. So if this case doesn't meet your needs, please disregard. 30-year-old with a chief complaint of crowding. U/L crowding. Class 3 complicating things is an open bite with an ant/post crossbite. Mild lower protrusion with ideal angulation of upper incisors on ceph. Midline's off. So, can you correct this non-extraction and nonsurgical? Can the upper arch be developed without excess buccal inclination? Can you correct the open bite despite correcting a posterior cross bite? And since I used Invisalign, can you control torque particularly of UR2? I think that we were able to achieve most goals. Lower incisors slightly uprighted despite initial crowding. Upper incisor angulation maintained or even slightly improved. Open bite and midline improved. Class III corrected. Crossbite corrected. ■ 7/5/2020 18 OCTOBER 2020 // orthotown.com OT1020_MB1_Simple_AG_V2.indd 18 9/24/20 10:21 AMhttp://www.orthotown.com
