MESSAGE BOARD 1 Treatment Plan Suggestions, Please A patient's failed RCT leads this doc to an impasse-but Townies offer solutions mk2162 Post: 1 of 11 2/14/2023 Hi, all. I was looking at what treatment plan suggestions you might have for this case, please. The LL6 has a failed RCT/crown and a draining fistula on the buccal. Thanks. n dhmjdds Post: 2 of 11 2/14/2023 How old is the patient? What is the buccal occlusion? Looks like U4s, LR5, LL6, plus all 8s exts. Let UR2 float and fully retract UR3, then bring UR2 into the arch. Some arch wire expansion should get you out of crossbite on the right, unless she is young enough to do an expander. Not sure there are too many other options. n christjl Post: 3 of 11 2/14/2023 I agree with your plan. One question: Would you ever consider removing both lower molars to maintain symmetry? In that case, I would not remove lower thirds at this time and potentially use as seconds.n mk2162 Post: 4 of 11 She is 19. I put up photos of the models.n 2/14/2023 APRIL 2023 | 20 | ORTHOTOWN.COMhttp://www.ORTHOTOWN.COM
