MINISTAR S COMPACT PRESSURE-MOLDING UNIT WITH LCD DISPLAY
iniStar S is a compact pressure-molding
unit that combines positive pressure and
forms the heated side of the material over
the model. The unit reaches working temperature
in one second and the barcode scanner
automatically enters the correct processing
information for the material. Fabricate hard
and soft dental appliances in half the time of
conventional methods.
Using positive pressure for thermal forming,
the MiniStar S can form a wide variety of thermal
plastics in thicknesses that range from 0.1-5 mm.
Some of the appliances the unit can fabricate
include splints, mouthguards, bleaching trays,
Hawley retainers and invisible retainers. The
machine is accurate enough to make a matrix for
duplicating models.
The primary difference between this unit and
a traditional vacuum machine is that the MiniStar
uses 60 pounds of positive push. That 60 pounds
of pressure enters on top of the material and
continually pushes it down throughout the
entire cooling phase, ensuring ideal adaptation.

A traditional vacuum can generate only 14 pounds
of suction from underneath the model. This
difference allows the MiniStar S to produce more
accurate, predictable appliances that require
less rework.
