teenyortho Post: 9 of 14 5/19/2021 Th ank you all for your input. Taking out L2s is defi nitely most effi cient. However, there would be an anterior Bolton of about 2.5 mm, and IPR would further upright the lower incisors, therefore further retraction of the uppers. Wondering if you would still extract L2s if this were a family member? ■ kpacker Post: 12 of 14 5/30/2021 I agree. L3s don't look as awesome as L2s. And the Bolton is kind of funky as well. With extractions, it won't take much eff ort to open space for the 2s. ■ dhmjdds Post: 11 of 14 5/20/2021 Yes, even with a family member. Why put a family member through what it would take to get those laterals fully into the arch? Why put this patient through that? Nature has kind of given you a hint about how this patient's teeth are now, IMO. ■ Scan the QR code to join Orthotown and get feedback from verifi ed orthodontists!
