SODUKO Study Abroad Scholarship Available The University of Northern Virginia is offering three scholarships to Prince William County high school and college students to its Summer Study Abroad program. The year's program, designed to provide U.S. students with a global education experience, will be held during the month of August in Prague. Three area students will be chosen for the award based on their performance in a Global Leadership essay contest. One senior, one junior, and one undergraduate student will receive the scholarship. Applications are available online at www.unva.edu. The deadline for submission is June 30. We are pleased to make this opportunity available to our community, said Chancellor Dr. Fay Avery. Congress declared 2006 as the Year of Study Abroad, in recognition of the need for U.S. students to broaden their visions in this era of globalization.
