Ag Tech Symposium
Attention Growers and industry members! This session
will feature a series of facilitated roundtable discussions
to identify important innovation opportunities in the
specialty agriculture industry and highlight recent
technological successes. Nick Rocca (Head of Autonomy
at Field-in out of Fresno, CA) will talk on where he sees

Ag Tech heading. The group is then invited to lunch and
networking at The Bridge an incubator facility of the MSU
Research Foundation (MSU-RF). (immediately across the
street from Devos\walkable) Expo participants will then
expand upon Ag Tech themes and opportunities they
have identifi ed during the Expo event.
EDUCATION PROGRAM
The following pages give you a glimpse into the extensive
educational sessions available at the Great Lakes Expo.
Certifi cation Credit
Many of the education sessions will offer credits for
Michigan and Ohio Private and Commercial Pesticide
Applicators and Certifi ed Crop Advisors. Those interested
in credits will fi ll out an online survey at the end of each
session providing credits. The survey will be fi lled out
using a personal mobile device. Thursday, December 7 MI
RUP Review and Testing will take place at the EXPO.
NEW THIS YEAR
A limited number of scholarships are available. The
scholarship will cover the cost of registration to the EXPO.
Apply as soon as possible, the deadline is November
1. The window to apply is short. In case we can not fulfi ll
all requests, the early bird registration pricing will still
be available. Each applicant must fi ll out a short online
application. Maximum 2 allowed per business/household.
