Did You Know??
Bison had its start in 1985 when our employee softball team manager
complained about the dirty duffle bag and wanted a better way to store
and transport team bats, balls, scorebooks, and other equipment to and
from games and practices.
Co-founder Elmer Wessel designed a better mousetrap that we called
Fielder's Choice Baseball and Softball Caddies.
He approached partner Nick Cusick about marketing the products and
a new company called Bison Recreational Products was born!
Fielder's Choice, sold through independent sales reps, was the
springboard that launched Bison into the team sports equipment
industry.
It seems fitting then, decades
later, Bison is going back to its
roots, introducing a baseball and
softball product line that it hopes
to expand in the upcoming
years.
Bison customers have come
to trust Bison for quality team
equipment and dealers can
expect the same from our new
