SE Regional Fruit and Vegetable
Conference, Jan. 9-12
The Southeast Regional Fruit and
Vegetable Conference, held annually in
Savannah, Georgia, has announced that
the 2021 conference will be held virtually
this year, Jan. 5-7, 2021.
This event is the largest educational
conference and trade show in the
Southeast that unites growers, vendors
and suppliers from across the specialty
crop industry.
" Our number one priority is
protecting the health and well-being
of all attendees and we are excited to
move our conference to a virtual event, "
said Charles Hall, Southeast Regional
executive director.
The conference, coordinated and
sponsored by the Georgia Fruit
and Vegetable Growers Association
(GFVGA) and the South Carolina
Peach Council will continue to present
unique opportunities for exhibitors
and attendees to network and share the
latest advances in fruit and vegetable
production technology through an
interactive trade show platform and
extensive education program.
Southeast Regional will once again
feature a comprehensive education
program with leading commodity
experts from across the country.
Presented in both live and on demand
formats, sessions are designed to keep
growers up to date on production
technology, new varieties, regulations
and business opportunities.
The Southeast Regional team will
release details soon for booth and
product showcase options that will
include interactive tools to optimize
product and service demonstrations. This
year's trade show will feature dedicated
exhibitor Power Hours to provide
exhibitors the opportunity to showcase
their new products and services and will
be accessible around the clock to allow
attendees to browse through the trade
show at their convenience.

GFVGA is a trade association
representing farmers producing fruits
and vegetables in the southeastern
United States. The organization provides
a viable and united voice to represent
the industry. Through support for
educational programs, agricultural
research, member services and marketing
activities GFVGA encourages efficient,
cost effective production for growers and
increased consumption by consumers.
GFVGA is managed by Association
Services Group, a professional
management firm with offices in
LaGrange, Georgia, and is accredited
by the Association Management
Company Institute.
The South Carolina Peach Council
is an association of growers, packers,
researchers, allied industry, and produce
buyers who seek to protect and advance
the production and marketing of
peaches in South Carolina.
2021 Schedule
Coffee Chats | 8:15 a.m. ET - 9 a.m. ET
Start each day of the conference with
the morning chat of your choice. You can
choose different coffee chat rooms, some
will be focused on the latest state and
national topics and news of concerns to a
more relaxing opportunities to enjoy your
morning joe while meeting other growers.
Education Sessions | 9:30 a.m. ET -
11:30 a.m. ET and 2:30 p.m. ET -
5 p.m. ET
Even though we are meeting virtually
this year, SE Regional will still boast of
one the largest educational conferences
for any commodity in the specialty crop
industry. All education sessions will be
recorded and available to All Access Pass
registrants until April 30, 2021.
Trade Show Hours | 24 Hours, 7 Days
a Week
Spend time on the Trade Show floor
each day and enjoy dedicated Exhibitor
Power Hours from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30
p.m. every afternoon where you can
enjoy special sessions, demonstrations
and interact with exhibitors via chat
boxes and in Zoom rooms.
Exhibitor booths will be available for
continuous viewing Jan. 5-April 30, 2021.
Evening Networking Events
Wrap up your day and kick back with
your fellow conference attendees. These
" fun " events will be a great end to the
day and give you a chance to meet other
attendees at the conference. Several
different activities are being planned
each night so stay tuned for more
information.

The Annual Awards program will
be a virtual event in 2021. Individuals
that have received national awards and
distinguished themselves in their area
will be recognized. In addition, the
Donnie Morris Award of Excellence in
Extension and the Mr. Peach Award will
be presented.

Illinois Specialty Crop
Conference, Jan. 6-8, 2021
The annual Illinois Specialty Crop
Conference (ISCC) is moving to an
interactive exhibit hall and virtual
conference format. The conference
provides a platform for education,
information and networking for Illinois
specialty growers during the ongoing
COVID-19 crisis.
Join us for this opportunity to
connect every segment of the fresh
produce supply chain, including
growers, shippers, fresh-cut processors,
wholesalers, distributors, retailers,
suppliers and partners.
ISCC will feature live sessions
including; two live keynote speakers
sharing insights and strategies, a
roundtable discussion with attendee

and a robust exposition floor where
exhibitors and attendees can share
business and industry information.

Empire State Producers Expo,
Jan. 11-14
Following much consideration, the
New York State Vegetable Growers
Association and Cornell Cooperative
Extension announced they are
transforming the annual Becker Forum
and Empire State Producers Expo into
a virtual conference scheduled for
Jan. 11-14, 2021.

Zoom. Everyone will be attending
this year from a computer.

our experts by watching a live or
pre-recorded slide show.
* Ask questions in the chat.
* Presenters will answer questions
