Maritime™ Brings New,
Revolutionary Biological
Extraction Technology
to Specialty Crops
Loveland, Colo. - Nutrien Ag Solutions, the largest global
ag retailer, introduces Maritime, the only balanced crop
nutrition system that provides a food source to the soil
microbiota to restore soil health, raise nutrient uptake and
reduce the eff ects of abiotic stress.
The swing arm trellis for blackberries is a nine-wire system in a large V. The primocanes
trained on the left will become the fruit-bearing floricanes the next spring
paired with the floricane side of the
next trellis. As the trellis arms are
lowered to create a fruiting wall,
an overhead arch of blackberries is
created. This places ripe blackberries
on both sides of the workers who are
picking. This makes picking easier
and lets workers pick in the shade. It
also helps in U-pick operations.
Our exclusive biological extraction process means
Maritime has a higher overall biochemical concentration
proven to off er superior benefi ts. Maritime's greater
microbial content, especially bacteria, off ers signifi cantly
more microbial diversity than other commercial kelp
extracts. The heavier concentration of helpful microbes
gives growers results unlike any other.
Maritime improves seedling response to drought stress and is
designed for use with specialty crops such as almonds, grapes,
citrus, strawberries, broccoli, lettuce and more.

the trellis. They like picking in the

The trellis system also offers
production advantages. Shading
the berries means less sun scald.
For commercial production, the
extra room between the rows and
easier access to the berries means
harvesting cost is lower.

Maritime™ augments a balanced crop nutrition system
by providing a food source to the soil microbiota, which
helps RESTORE soil health. The exclusive biological
extraction of Maritime produces a broader range of
plant-available compounds than traditional extraction
