PP&L ANNOUNCES MANAGEMENT CHANGES

Richard Gigot, Steve Lendvay and April Herring-Murray
Pacific Plug & Liner, Watsonville, California, has announced that Richard
Gigot, director of sales and marketing, will retire on June 30, 2019. He will
be moving into an advisory position beginning March 1.
Gigot joined PP&L in December 2013 and has been the driver of the
company's strategic turn-around toward perennials over the last few years.
Also effective March 1, Steve Lendvay will be promoted to sales director.
Lendvay joined PP&L one year ago as business development manager
based in Cleveland, Ohio, focusing on sales in the Midwest and East. Prior
to joining the company, Lendvay was with Skagit Horticulture where he was
regional sales manager for 13 years.
The company also announced that on Jan. 1, April Herring-Murray was
promoted to marketing director. Herring-Murray joined PP&L seven years
ago as new product development and marketing manager. In her new role,
she will be responsible for the overall marketing of young plants and new
product discovery and development.

began in August 2018 during the GWA Annual Symposium in the
NGB sponsored " New Plant Showcase. " Publicity direct to the
consumer began in January via the NGB e-newsletters and social
media posts.

garden industry promote these new varieties to consumers and
encourage gardening.
