COLLIDE
In this issue, I am excited to highlight four women who have been
shaping the future of horticulture through their businesses. From
GPN's recent Forty under 40 honorees, please join us in celebrating
these women on page 18 for National Women in Agriculture Day,
March 21.
Another celebration this month is the centennial anniversary of
De Vroomen Garden Products on page 14. The company produces more
than 15 million bare root perennials and spring-flowering annuals each
year, and continues to build and partner for further success.

IT'S ALMOST SPRING
California Spring Trials 2025 is scheduled for March 25 to 29 this
year and is always a colorful reminder that spring is on the way. This
event showcases the behind-the-scenes work of breeders who develop
the low-input varieties growers love, with the bold colors and lasting
blooms that consumers want to buy. Check out a sneak peek of what's
in store on page 6.
New introductions for 2026 sales and improved varieties are the
highlight of CAST, so be sure to check back for more after the event.
Until then, page 10 offers a strong selection of new varieties that are
ready to be added to your 2025 spring lineup.
