would like to introduce you to GPN's 40
Under 40 Class of 2019.
Now in our eighth year, GPN's 40 Under 40
program provides a snapshot (actually 40 of
them) of what is in store for our industry.
The individuals that make up this year's
class represent the entire spectrum of the
horticulture industry - from the initial
creation of a new plant to its sale at retail to
its installation at a consumer's home - and
everything in between.
These young women and men are making
a difference in our industry today ... and will
continue to do so for many years to come.

Each and every one of these individuals
was nominated by one or more of their peers
for their achievements in their personal and
professional lives.
Over the next 20 pages, you will get to know
this year's honorees a little better and find out
what makes them tick. I am sure you will be
impressed with their achievements as well as

Class of 2020
Now that you have met the Class of
2019, do you know a young industry
superstar who you think should be in
GPN's 40 Under 40 Class of 2020?
If you know someone who you believe
belongs in next year's class, we want to
know more about that person ... but not
just yet.
On Nov. 1, we will begin accepting
online nominations for next year's class.
Anyone in the horticulture industry under
the age of 40 (as of Jan. 31, 2020) is
eligible to be nominated.
Previous nominees who were not
selected in prior years can be nominated
again as long as they are still under 40.
