* Certified Professional Horticulturist with the
American Society for Horticulture Science and
Certified Horticulture Therapist.
A Full House:
In addition to her houseplant collecting hobby - she
has more than 200 - Hannah enjoys horseback riding,
beekeeping and flying with her husband.
A Page Turner:
Hannah's favorite book is " Wicked Plants: The Weed That
Killed Lincoln's Mother and Other Botanical Atrocities " by
Amy Stewart.

* Working internationally by coordinating and participating in

Extension host for a Master Gardener
travel study program in Costa Rica.
* Has pieced together several remote
positions in organizations she's
passion about, where she can
communicate her love of plants,
horticulture and research.
An Innate Talent:
Although she's had no formal art
training, Laura's artwork has been accepted into a
handful of different galleries and publications across the country.
Hitting the Right Notes:
Laura's first degree is in music performance for flute: " I did win
the department's Concerto Competition, where I got to play a solo
piece accompanied by the wind symphony. "

Accomplishments:
* Played an integral role in setting up Japanese beetle
protocols for shipping plants throughout North America.
* Took part in the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape
Association Day on the Hill, talking to representatives and
senators about bills affecting our industry, and toured
Gov. Tim Walz at Bailey.
* Has been in the industry for more than 20 years and rose
through the ranks at Bailey quickly, now responsible for
ordering all the soil mix amendments for the container sites
in the Minnesota operations.
High-School Sweethearts:
Zach and his wife have been
together for 22 years, married
for 15 years and have two
children. Their favorite place to
vacation is Montana.
