GCA receives recognition for its
Black Makers Pitch Program
GCA was honored with the highest recognition, the
Summit Award for Diversity & Inclusion, for its Black Makers
Pitch Program. The honor was bestowed at the annual
American Society of Association Executive's (ASAE) Power
of A Summit Awards dinner. Andrea Williams of Paisley
Paper Co. accepted the award on behalf of GCA at the
National Building Museum in Washington, D.C.
OneCoast and DEMDACO end
representation agreement
OneCoast and DEMDACO mutually announced the end
of their representation agreement effective Jan. 1, 2022.
Both OneCoast and DEMDACO are committed to making
the transition very seamless for the independent retailer
customer. Service will be uninterrupted from the OneCoast
DEMDACO Sales Division Territory Manager as well as on

ToyFest West celebrates 60 years
The Western Toy and Hobby Representatives Association
(WTHRA) celebrate 60 years of producing its toy show
and will relocate ToyFest West 2022 to The Expo at World
Market Center Las Vegas, a newly opened, purpose-built
tradeshow facility in downtown Las Vegas. ToyFest West
will run March 9-11.

IMC has announced the re-hiring of Alejandra Trombetta,
who as the new senior events manager - apparel will be
responsible for creating a memorable experience for buyers
at all Atlanta Apparel and Las Vegas Apparel markets.
Deloitte anticipates holiday retail
sales to increase
Holiday retail sales are likely to increase between
7% and 9% in 2021, according to Deloitte's annual
holiday retail
forecast. Overall, Deloitte's retail and
distribution practice projects that holiday sales will total
$1.28 to $1.3 trillion during the November to January
timeframe. Deloitte also forecasts that e-commerce sales
will grow by 11-15%, year-over-year, during the 20212022
holiday season.

Dallas Market welcomes Jo Ann
Miller Marshall
Dallas Market Center, the home of the B2B trade events
attracting buyers from around the world, announced
that Jo Ann Miller Marshall joins the company as
senior vice president of leasing - temporary home &
gift beginning Oct. 4. Miller Marshall is responsible
for the strategic merchandising, prospecting, and
leasing of the Temps marketplace during Total Home
& Gift Markets. She reports directly to Cindy Morris,
president and CEO.
Sullivans acquires Woodstock
Chimes
Sullivans has acquired Woodstock Percussion, Inc.,
which will function as a subsidiary under Sullivan,
Inc. After five decades of leadership in the industry,
Woodstock Chimes founder Garry Kvistad has chosen
Sullivans to lead his company into its next generation.
Current Woodstock Chimes President, Stacey Bowers,
will continue to lead operations as the Kvistads step
away. As of Sep. 1, 2021 the acquisition was completed,
finalizing the transition of the Woodstock brand to the
Sullivans offering.
NY NOW launches SF NOW, a new
west coast regional market
NY NOW, announced the launch of SF NOW, a new
regional market that extends NY NOW to the West Coast.
SF NOW will co-locate with *NOTED, The Greeting Card
Expo that will be held in San Francisco, California. The
event will take place April 28-29, 2022.
