International Floriculture Expo
Rescheduled for September
Originally slated for early June, the International
Floriculture Expo has been rescheduled to Sept. 15-17 at the
Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami, Florida.
Owners of the event, Diversified Communications,
concluded that the magnitude of the unanticipated and
ongoing public health and safety issues posed by COVID-19
made postponement to September unavoidable.
" We are making every effort to hold this show because
we hear every day from our customers how much the floral
industry needs it. Proactively moving the dates to September
puts us in the best position to do that " said Harrison Hines,
event manager.
" We also want to take this opportunity to assure our
customers that the International Floriculture Expo always
has, and will continue to make the health of our visitors,
exhibitors, partners and staff our absolute top priority as we
continue to make preparations for the 2020 event. As details
are confirmed we will be sharing an outline of the measures
we taking to make sure your experience at this year's show is
safe, positive, and productive, " Hines said.
Attendees, exhibitors and partners can expect to receive
important follow up communications from the International
Floriculture Expo and its vendors with details relating to the
rescheduled event in the coming weeks.

Griffin Expo Goes Virtual
Griffin has announced the decision to take their
traditionally live events to a virtual experience due to the
continuing uncertainty around the COVID-19 pandemic.
Griffin Virtual Expo 2020, taking place Sept. 15-16, will
continue to feature many of the same experiences as the
traditional in-person event such as a 3D digital experience
where exhibitors and attendees can share information,
view video presentations, chat live, and attend educational
sessions.
" Our team is looking forward to bringing this new way
of engaging with our customers and vendors. Although
we appreciate connecting in person, we are excited by the
opportunity to bring everyone together online, " said Jim
Rottenberg, vice president of marketing and retail sales for
Griffin. " We are getting ready to showcase new products,
show specials and provide our virtual attendees the
educational tracks we are known for. "
While the complete agenda and session list is still being
finalized, the event is shaping up to include:
* A virtual exhibit hall
* Educational sessions
* Ability to live chat
* Virtual gaming with prizes to keep the event lively
and fun
* Many other exciting ways to conduct business, engage
and work together
