Lawn & Garden Retailer Names New
Editorial Director

News (GPN), has appointed
Abby McGarry (Kleckler) to the
role of editorial director of its
horticulture division.
McGarry isn't a new face to
the brands, having spent seven
years in various positions on
the editorial team and serving
as managing editor of L&GR
until 2019.
She started her career in television news but has spent
most of the past decade in publishing. Her editorial
experience spans across other industries as well, including
retail, construction, healthcare and infrastructure. Most
recently, she was the senior digital & technology editor of
Progressive Grocer, published by EnsembleIQ.
" This is a bit of a homecoming for me, and I could not be
more excited to be returning to the horticulture industry, "
McGarry says. " It is a huge honor to carry on the rich history
of both Lawn & Garden Retailer and GPN.
" We have a lot of exciting things planned, and I look
forward to working with Teresa McPherson on the L&GR side
to deliver an incredible product that serves you, our readers,
and our market. "

Terra Nova Nurseries Debuts
Leucanthemum
mixed containers, sunny borders and the front-centers
of beds. The plant blooms June through August and
has a variety of special uses, including being deer
resistant and well-suited for the deep South. It is also an
effective pollinator attractor.
Leucanthemum 'Lemon Meringue' is hardy to Zones
5 to 9, and its exposure calls for full sun. The eye-catching
perennial desires average, well-drained soil and an average
amount of water when planted in gardens; it also prefers
to be dry between waterings. The plant has a height of 6
inches, width of 14 inches and flower height of 9 inches.

Rempert Joins BlueSkye Creative
BlueSkye Creative, a marketing agency devoted to the
horticulture market, recently announced the addition of
Debbie Rempert as
account manager.
In her new role,
Rempert will manage
relationships with specific
key accounts. She will also
be involved with BlueSkye
Creative's marketing
efforts, social media
campaign management
and public relations.

Before joining BlueSkye Creative, Rempert gained more
than 20 years of marketing experience with the Ball
Horticultural family of companies, and most recently as the
senior brand manager for Dümmen Orange, McHutchison,
and Vaughan's Horticulture. She earned a bachelor's degree in
journalism from Northern Illinois University.
Dramm Installs Solar Panels
Terra Nova Nurseries recently released a sneak peek of
leucanthemum 'Lemon Meringue'. This new variety grows
with tight, heavy branching and features long-lasting semidouble
daises, opening with a lemony citrus yellow and
shifting to a clean, crisp white flower. An extended bloom
time with successive flowers opening on top of previous
blooms is a trait of this perennial.

panels at its new headquarters in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. The
