THE BROOKFIELD CO.
For over 35 years The Brookfield Co. has been
hand casting beautiful and weather durable concrete
containers and other landscape furnishing. The design
concept of the company's two founders and artists,
John Cline and Hilda Jones, has always been to create
crisp, sophisticated forms that function successfully
to enhance the surrounding landscape rather than to
upstage. Hilda and John design their products with the
maximum success of plant growth and maintenance in
mind. Of utmost concern to these two founders was to
develop the most durable concrete products possible for
use in all climates year round. After much research, they
settled on a batch mix similar to what is used on freeway
bridge decking. The concrete mix has greater weather
resistance, flexibility and less porosity, making a product
of lasting integrity and beauty.
In addition, the Brookfield craftsmen can
accommodate a variety of custom needs, from
embossed logos to special finishes and required
plumbing/irrigation modifications. It is rare in today's
market to find this kind of resource for landscape &
garden products at an affordable price.
The Brookfield plant container line offers style
groupings making coordination of use in the
landscape plan a breeze. For instance, the Anderson
Group offers four upright planter shapes with the
largest (#060 Mammoth Anderson) measuring a
whopping 47 " dia. X 33 " tall and two low bowl shapes

of significant size as well. This style and many other
Brookfield planter styles work well in contemporary as
well as traditional landscapes.
Another style group, the Fairfield Group, offers
seven upright round sizes, two round low bowls as
well as four square sizes. This group is offered with or
without the 'shell motif' design, no cost difference. The
largest of the Fairfield group, #056 Mammoth Fairfield
measures 44' dia. X 34 " .
Decorative and functional planter feet or risers are offered
as well for added design element or simply proper drainage.
When John and Hilda founded The Brookfield Co. in
1985, the market offered few choices for well-designed
and crafted, functional and durable plant containers with
significant size choices. Since that time, more offerings may
be available, however Brookfield products have continued
to stand out as the quality choice and superior value.
All orders are placed directly to the company's office in
Northwest Georgia. Every effort is make to accommodate
deadline needs of the customer though 3-4 weeks is
normal for order fulfillment.
