MANAGEMENT dreaming bigger! We are very open to change which allowed us to become more diversified. Workshops were always a big part of our business strategy but as the internet and YouTube have become popular, it has been harder to come up with new ideas. We encourage our staff to work WITH us as opposed to working FOR us. We think their input is so important. They interact with the customers and get a feel for what they like. Our business has evolved in many new ways because of the talents of our staff. Art in the Garden, which we started previously, flourished at our new location. It brought us many new local artisans and customers who love the arts! We invited local musicians to perform. It is a wonderful event that showcases local talent! We have a waiting list to participate. We now offer it twice a year! It also gives us the opportunity raise awareness, funds and food for the local food bank. Our Mission The belief that nature, art and positive energy feed our spirits. Inspired our tag line " HARMONY by DESIGN. " One by one like-minded businesses, artists, entrepreneurs, and creative thinkers have chosen to grow their businesses with and at Calgo Gardens. After 72 years After reflecting on how Calgo Gardens has grown and matured over the years. I look back and remember the original owner Charlotte Hirsch as an artistic landscape designer. Calgo Gardens has grown into a destination with an artistic flair. We feel that the addition of all the like-minded businesses has enabled us to enhance and enrich our community. Charlotte started us on the right path and we hope that we can continue to inspire everyone that comes into our establishment.
