NY NOW announces its first-ever
fashion show for summer market
On May 13, NY NOW announced the debut
of the Fashion Runway, NY NOW's first-ever
fashion show to premiere at the upcoming
Summer 2019 market. The show, consisting of
jewelry and fashion accessories from around
the globe, will be presented and curated by
world-renowned designer Farai Simoyi.
The show will debut on Saturday, August 10,
at 10:30 a.m., opening day for the Handmade
Collection - one day before the Home and
Lifestyle sections of the market open on Sunday,
August 11.

have Farai Simoyi curate our NY NOW Fashion
Runway show at the Summer 2019 market, " said
Kevin O'Keefe EVP Emerald Expositions. " Farai
embodies the retail renaissance through her
innovative concept store, design workshops,

off the fashion show on Saturday with

Décor resources grow in Atlanta
before July 2019 market
Twenty-two design-driven showrooms are
opening new locations, reimagining their
spaces or renewing their leases in preparation
for The Atlanta International Gift at Home
Furnishings Market, July 9-15, 2019. The
Market's Home Décor Collection
features
nearly 2,000 lighting, accent furniture, rugs,
wall décor, casual furniture and linens brands
presented in 300 showrooms on 12 floors.
" The décor offerings in Atlanta continue
to evolve and expand, " said Scott Eckman,
International Market Centers (IMC) executive
