hybrids for 2023
O
utstanding Seed Co. LLC
is one extended family
dedicated to innovation and
exceptionalism in the breeding,
production and sales of stacking
pumpkins, specialty pumpkins, jacko-lantern
pumpkins and mini pumpkin
hybrids.
Many growers prefer Outstanding
Seed hybrids for their high
germination, strong plant vigor, fruit
durability, large handles, disease
resistance, early maturity and high
yield potential. Our stacking pumpkin
hybrids are additionally known for
their unique colors, color patterns and
rind textures.
We currently offer more than 60
pumpkin hybrids. They are all from
PRINCE CHARMING F1
our own plant breeding and seed
production, including six new hybrids
for 2023.
Prince Charming F1 Stacking
Pumpkin: A large, flat, glossy,
ribbed, deep red stacking pumpkin.
Compared to the true vintage Rouge
vif D'Etampes, Prince Charming F1
has the same shiny, flat, red fruit,
plus all the benefits of a modern
hybrid, including much higher yield
potential and the surety of trueness
to type. Prince Charming F1 is darker
red, glossier and slightly smaller in
diameter, when compared to Daybreak
F1. Fruit average 24 pounds. Average
diameter is 13 inches and average
height is 8 inches. Average maturity
is 100 days. Vining plants offer strong
resistance to powdery mildew.
Blue Eyes F1 Stacking Pumpkin:
Large, flat, ribbed, medium blue
stacking pumpkin. Many have a very
glossy, very smooth rind. Compared
to Blue Delight F1, Blue Eyes F1 is
uniform for its medium blue color, and
uniform for its smooth texture. Fruit
average 26 pounds. Average diameter
is 12 inches and average height is 8
inches. Average maturity is 100 days.
Vining plants offer strong resistance
to powdery mildew.

Glass Slipper F1 Stacking
Pumpkin: Large, flat, ribbed and
multi-colored stacking pumpkin.
Marbling, flecking, and striping colors
include salmon, peach, baby blue and
sea-foam green. Glass Slipper F1 is
not a blend; it has one female parent
and one male parent. Fruit average 18
pounds. Average maturity is 100 days.
Average fruit diameter is 11 inches
