Born and raised in Bailey, North Carolina,
Glover is a third-generation farmer. He is
a grower, packer and shipper of a variety of crops. He grows many
different types of fruits and vegetables both conventionally and
organically. Glover is a member of several boards, associations and
committees.
Raised in Rio Vista, California, Charlie is a

Professor, Purdue University
After receiving Ph.D. degree in horticulture
from the University of Florida, Wenjing has
worked as a vegetable specialist at Purdue University since 2015.
She works closely with the melon industry in Indiana, conducting
watermelon and cantaloupe variety trials. She also works with smaller
and diversified vegetable growers. Her primary interests include
vegetable grafting, annual plasticulture production and use of seasonal
Extension techniques in vegetable production. Wenjing is the editor of
Purdue Extension newsletter Vegetable Crops Hotline.

with minors in plant protection and crop science from Cal Poly San Luis
Obispo. As a certified PCA with his CCA & QAL for Grow West Inc.
Charlie covers over 3,000 acres in the San Joaquin, Solano, Sacramento
and Contra Costa counties. Additionally, Charlie owns and operates
Pressley Ranches, farming 75 acres of premium wine grapes, using part of
the production for his 350-case wine brand, Pressley Vineyards. Charlie
also serves on the Lodi Winegrape Commission Lodi Rules board focusing
on sustainable farming practices.
Creela Hamlin
Co-Owner/Farmer,
Lake Michigan Berry LLC
Born and raised in the fruit belt of western
Michigan, Creela along with her husband
Matthew, started Lake Michigan Berry. Both are fifth-generation farmers.
A graduate of Grand Valley State University, she currently works with
growers as a field representative for Peterson Farms Inc., and is very
active on the family farm. Hamlin also serves on the board of the
Michigan Blueberry Commission, focusing on research. People and
plants are what drive them forward, the joy of working with family and
a great group of employees is what it is all about. Creela enjoys sharing
her love of growing with others and is proud to be an American farmer.
