Dearborn. Founded by Henry
Ford, this vast history attraction
is also the starting point for the
Ford Rouge Factory Tour. But it
doesn't stop there-a must-see
is the Henry Ford Museum of
American Innovation, showcasing
a variety of exhibits that
focus on American history, and
the outdoor history park, Greenfield
Village. Car fans will enjoy
touring around the roads of
Greenfield Village in authentic
Model Ts.

Plant in Detroit.

TOUR
Ford House is the serene lakeside
estate of Eleanor and Edsel
Ford. The 60-room mansion is
set on 86 acres of gardens and
grounds. A new visitor center
conveys the life and times of
the Fords in an interactive and
immersive style.
Meadow Brook Hall is the
historic home built by one of
the automotive aristocracy's
most remarkable women,
Matilda Dodge Wilson, widow of
automobile pioneer John Dodge.
Enjoy lunch at the mansion.

DAY THREE
DISCOVER
Flint is known as the " Vehicle
City, " but it earned that name
because it was a center for
making carriages. Check out
the history of the carriage at the
Sloan Museum of Discovery,
as well as the booming era of
General Motors. The museum's
Durant Vehicle Gallery features
exhibits that present the history
and future of the automobile.
Explore Flint & Genesee
offers a step-on tour of the area.
Get a tour of historic Carriage
Town, and see the Durant-Dort
Carriage Company Offices, a
National Historic Landmark.
