SPECIAL ADVERTISING SECTION Travel Through Time HONOR THOSE WHO SERVED AT USS ALABAMA BATTLESHIP MEMORIAL PARK Step back in time as your group boards World War II battleship USS Alabama and submarine USS Drum, both National Historic Landmarks. Visitors will discover more than 30 historic airplanes, military vehicles, memorials, and more when you visit. A minimum of 10 paid admissions is required to qualify for the group tour discount. Along with free motorcoach parking, group tour leaders and motorcoach drivers also receive free admission. Feeling hungry? Groups have the option of eating at the park's restaurant on-site USS Drum (SS-228) or having a catered meal aboard the USS Alabama or in the Medal of Honor Aircraſt Pavilion. A minimum of 15 people is required to qualify for the catered dining option. All tours are self-guided. This allows everyone to spend time exploring and learning at their own pace. It is recommended that groups set aside 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Come celebrate the park's 60th anniversary in 2025 on the USS Alabama's new teak deck! Since opening in 1965, the park has welcomed more than 17 million visitors from the around the world, serving as a memorial to honor all who have served the U.S. Armed Forces.
