ALLU

versatile and reliable tools for industries enabling
effi cient screening and crushing of materials.
D-series screener buckets are designed for
larger processing jobs - from aerating compost
to primary on-site screening and processing
construction material. This is a bucket which
screens, crushes, pulverises, aerates, blends,
mixes, separates, feeds and loads materials.
ALLU has been consistently one step ahead
ALLU introduced its new D Series Variable
Drum, which enables quick replacement of an
individual drum or fi xed TS (top screen) blade,
with no need to open the chain box, saving time
and money. It's currently available for DN 3-12
TS and DN 3-17 TS models.
Patented TS construction and screening
blades make it possible to screen materials
even when they are wet or moist, without
fear of the structure getting clogged. It's also
possible to get three diff erent fragment sizes
from the same ALLU unit by rearranging the
screening combs with no additional costs.
ALLU Transformer attachments D series are
leading the industry for over 35years, with truly
mobile, compact screening buckets, which are the
perfect attachment for compact base machines to
screen and transform your materials, adding value
to customers in numerous applications.
GF Piping

GF Piping Systems-Central Plastics introduced
the proprietary LOKX System Ductile Iron Fitting,
designed for use with C900 PVC and CIOD
HDPE pipe in a variety of buried applications.
Engineered with a deep bell design, the
LOKX System's ductile iron push-on style fi tting
has defl ection capabilities of up to a total of 10
degrees in any direction (5 degrees defl ection
GMP's SideWinder Fiber Optic Puller Exceeds Requirements
The SideWinder Fiber Optic Puller, from General
Machine Products (GMP) (KT), LLC, has adapted to
market demand and is designed to exceed the
requirements of installing underground telecommunication
cables and high-density fi ber.
With a maximum pulling capacity of
600 lbs. and maximum rope speed of
262 feet per minute, the SideWinder makes cable pulling easier. Weighing only 1,500 pounds and
equipped with F78-14 tires, the unit is easily pullable by a standard pickup truck.
Employed with a 42-inch diameter single capstan, the winch can be placed at the midpoint
of a section to assist with the pull, allowing longer pulls to be achieved.
Additionally, the machine is operator-friendly and easy to control. To promote user safety, the
operator station is a distance away from all moving parts. A spring-centered lever works to control
the direction in which the capstan rotates, while a detented lever engages the take-drum drive.
Another feature of this machine is that the engine drives the fi xed displacement tandemmounted
hydraulic pumps. While one pump powers a hydraulic motor through an in-line
planetary gearbox to the capstan, the other pump drives the rope take-up drum through a
hydraulic motor. It is important to point out that the rope take-up drum is removable and can be
split to enable the removal of the rope.
For ease with transportation, an optional hitch confi guration can be used with the
SideWinder to ensure a snug fi t onto the hitch ball. Four optional lighting adaptors include a
four-pole (round) pin type, a four-pole fl at molded, a seven-pole pin type connector, and a
seven-pole blade type. UI

LOKX System
successfully
solves the problems associated with traditional,
mechanical joint (MJ) fi tting systems. Its internal
restrained fi tting is leak-resistant, fast to install,
and not subject to pipe distortion and point
loading, as occur in MJ restraint systems.
By eliminating the need for any bolts
or assembly tools, LOKX produces up to
80-percent savings in installation time and
labor costs, compared to MJ fi tting systems.
Another key feature is the internal self-restraining
gasket that eliminates pipe-to-pipe and
pipe-to-fi tting separation, even at high pressures.
In water and wastewater applications,
installation for MJ fi ttings and joint restraints
can be time consuming and diffi cult,
depending on ditch conditions. The MJ fi tting
was originally designed for use on heavy ductile
iron pipe, yet most installations today are on
PVC pipe in sizes 12 inches and smaller.
Since it's specifi cally for use on PVC and PE
pipe, the LOKX Systems reduces human error
and time required to install the traditional MJ
restraint systems.
GF Piping's LOKX System can also be used in
corrosive regions, coastal areas with brackish
soils, and horizontal directional drilling. UL and
FM approvals are pending.
Caterpillar

With powerful digging force and strong swing
torque, the new Cat 350 excavator can be
equipped with large buckets, up to 3.2 cubic
meters (4.2 cubic yards), for class-leading
productivity.
Consuming up to 13-percent less fuel than
its predecessor (Cat 349), Cat 350 lowers costs,
reduces CO2
emissions, and operates more
sustainably. Three mode options - Smart, Power,
and Eco - match the excavator to the job,
further reducing fuel consumption.
