Chris Jeong, CEO
for Doosan Infracore
European Union, was named
CEO at Doosan Infracore
North America.
He joined Doosan in 2006
as a senior corporate strategy manager and led
these activities across various markets, before
being promoted to vice president of sales and
marketing for emerging markets.
He succeeds Edward Song,
who was promoted to global
sales head of Hyundai
Doosan Infracore, in Korea.
His accomplishments as
CEO of Doosan Infracore
North America included establishing two
regional parts distribution centers in North
America, opening the machine customization
plant (Savannah, Ga.), and introducing a new
machine monitoring center at the Suwanee, Ga.
(near Atlanta) corporate office.
Woolpert
Emily St. Clair, systems analyst at architecture,
engineering, geospatial (AEG) and strategic
consulting firm Woolpert, was appointed to
The Institute of Asset Management's (IAM)
Subject Specific Guidelines (SSG) Group 27.
The group is working to create guidelines
outlining what it means to be a successful asset
management leader and manager at all levels of
an organization. It will touch on how to execute
organizational strategy and how to manage and
effect positive change.
IAM's goal of publishing in 2023.
Established in 1994 and based in the U.K.,
the IAM has a global network of over 30,000
professionals and supports the International
Organization for Standardization (ISO) 55000
series and its development of international
standards for asset management.
The IAM SSG leadership group has 47
members who were selected from public
agencies, private industries and academia
around the world.
this appointment reinforces Woolpert's
reputation in the industry and demonstrates the
firm's commitment to building a world-class
advisory consulting staff.
St. Clair joined Woolpert in 2019 and
specializes in GIS and asset management

McElroy
Chris Zenthoefer joined as
director of McElroy's new
Digital Strategy group.
Since graduating from
the University of Tulsa, with
a Bachelor's in Business
Administration and a Marketing focus, he has
had an eye for technology. First starting a
company that built websites, he later founded
ICEdot, an award-winning startup that designed
technological products for outdoor enthusiasts.
STI/SPFA
Ralph Carpenter, former chair of the
SPFA Pipe Section and longtime pipe industry
and steel champion, was inducted into the
STI/SPFA Hall of Fame.
The honor recognizes his 31 years with
STI/SPFA, a not-for-profit trade association of
companies that fabricate steel tanks, pipe, and
pressure vessels for use in the petroleum, food,
water, and chemical processing industries.
His involvement and contributions include
serving as chair of several committees and
spearheading the Steel Facts Series initiative.
In addition, his influence and positions with
the AWWA and ASCE, strengthened STI/SPFA's
reputation across many markets.
GTI Energy
Paula Gant, Ph.D., became
president and CEO of GTI
Energy, research and training
organization for scaling
energy transitions, succeeding
David Carroll, who retired.
Since joining GTI in 2019, Gant has led
efforts to enhance the creation and market
impact of technology-based energy and
environmental solutions, most recently as
senior vice president of corporate strategy
and innovation. Previously, she led policy,
regulatory affairs, and strategy at the U.S.
Department of Energy, American Gas
Association, and Duke Energy Corporation.
Sumeet Singh, P.E., executive vice president,
chief risk officer and interim chief safety officer,
PG&E Corporation and Pacific Gas and Electric
Company, was elected to the GTI Energy
Board of Directors. Through various leadership
roles, he has a deep understanding of energy
systems, both natural gas and electric, and vast
experience across all aspects of utility operations.
Black & Veatch
Mario Azar was named as the
new chairman and CEO of
Black & Veatch, a global
engineering, procurement,
consulting, and construction
company. He succeeds Steve
Edwards, who retired after 44 years.
Azar has more than 32 years in the energy
and industrial fields - much of it in engineering
and construction solutions - serving in
multiple executive roles and founding a private
consulting firm.
He joined Black & Veatch four years ago,
as president of the global power business,
and most recently was president of energy &
process industries.
Felling Trailers
Mike Young is the
new regional sales manager
at Felling Trailers Inc.,
national leader in
manufacturing industrial
and commercial trailers.
Within the South-Central region (Oklahoma,
Arkansas, Texas, and Louisiana), he is responsible
for achieving market-share objectives, with
existing and new dealers, and providing training
and product support for Felling Trailers and
Larson Cable Trailers products.
He brings 12 years of experience in the
oil and gas drilling industry, with diverse
knowledge of the underground utility markets.
Most recently, he was vac truck sales manager
for Vermeer Equipment of Texas/Louisiana.
Mike Wolff was appointed as
national accounts coordinator-inside
sales, responsible
for sales development,
activity, and account support
for Felling's top national
rental partners and inside sales calls.
His previous Felling experience includes
working as sales coordinator and in the Parts
& Services Department. Prior to Felling, he was
parts manager and route specialist at an agbased
