Three new -7 Series wheel excavators -
DX140W-7, DX190W-7 and DX210W-7 -
are designed to help operators take on their
toughest job-site challenges.
Equipped with superior hydraulics, the redesigned
wheel excavators deliver the powerful
digging force needed to move and lift more material
with each cycle. A one-touch feature boosts
hydraulic power for digging in tough material.
For optimal maneuverability, these wheel excavators
have a modular design that allows owners
to easily configure the machine's undercarriage to
level, backfill material with the front dozer blade,
or stabilize the machine when digging.
Smart technologies, such as Smart Power
Control (SPC), improve machine efficiency, while
maintaining productivity through variable speed
control and pump torque control.
Four selectable power modes give operators
more control over the excavator's performance
and help to reduce fuel consumption:
* Power+ for severe digging conditions
and mass loading (top loading)
* Power for extremely deep trenching
and simultaneously truck loading
* Standard for general ground utility
applications: digging and pipelaying
* Economy for precise grading and to
maximize controllability and efficiency

Felling Trailers Inc., a national leader in industrial
and commercial trailers, received certification of
its UN31 as a fuel tank, with 607 usable gallons, for
intended use in the mobile generator industry.
UN31 tanks were designed to be compatible
with Felling's DDG drop deck generator trailer
line. The tank option is utilized in conjunction with
an OEM's Genset mounted to the trailer frame.

HCSS, a leading provider of innovative
software that helps heavy civil businesses
streamline their operations, introduces HCSS
Forms, a digital forms builder that eliminates
paperwork and improves worker productivity.
Crews can answer questions online, add
photos, generate smart forms, and sign off on
forms - all digitally - without manually filling
out forms on paper.
HCSS Forms is available in the HCSS Field
app, as an enhancement to both HCSS
HeavyJob and HCSS Safety.
" We've had over 4 million forms submitted
through HCSS Forms while we were in Beta,
ranging from PTO requests, work permits,
time and materials reports, pre-planning
checks, and more, " said Gene Simmons,
technical product manager, HCSS.
repairs are installed to provide structural
reinforcement for significantly corroded and
thinned pipes. However, after such repairs,
inspecting the remaining wall thickness on the
pipe can become challenging.

ISC Diamond Tools

The new electric
536-E power
cutter from ICS
Diamond Tools
offers the professional-grade cutting capabilities
associated with the ICS brand - square corners,
deep cutting, no overcuts and safety - only now
with electric power.
Designed to slice through concrete, stone,
masonry and ductile iron, 536-E uses a
4.8-horsepower motor to deliver industrial cutting
capacity, while eliminating the need to mix
fuel and oil or maneuver heavy hydraulic hoses.
It runs on 220V, making it compatible with most
generators. It's also a quieter tool to use when
compared to gas and hydraulic.
Thanks to its lighter weight and ergonomic
design, 536-E gives users more cutting control
and a great solution for tackling obstructed or
small-size openings. As with other ICS power
cutters, it's also easy and safer to use when
cutting in the trench, reducing risk of kickback.
Additional benefits include the versatility of
operating FORCE3, FORCE4 and PowerGrit
guide bars, and diamond chains, with the quick
switch of a drive sprocket and guide bar. Conveniently
plugging into the electrical distribution
box means there isn't a hydraulic power.
There's also no need to remove a side
cover or any other piece to tension the chain. A
chain-tensioning screw on the back of the saw
easily and quickly adjusts tension during use -
and proper tension, along with water pressure
(20 psi), is what helps maximize chain life. UI
John Deere Introduces New Electric Excavator
John Deere revealed a new electric excavator that will
help its customers be more productive, profitable, and
sustainable.
Powered by a Kreisel battery, the new machine
provides [construction workers and road builders] with
lower daily operating costs, reduced job-site noise,
enhanced reliability and zero emissions.
Deere acquired a majority stake in Kreisel Electric,
which created state-of-the-art batteries for a wide range of mobile and stationary applications.
Patented Kreisel immersion cooling architecture provides unsurpassed lifetime, enhanced safety,
and improved performance for battery-powered equipment. In addition, Kreisel's charging
technology results in faster and lower-cost connections to the electrical grid. UI
