RECENT HIGHLIGHTS.
TOPGOLF SOCIAL
Thursday, March 30, 2023 | North Texas Chapter
At the end of March, the North Texas Chapter held their
3rd annual Topgolf tournament/social to raise a total of
$4,412.40 for the North Texas scholarship program.
There were 65 in attendance with 10 sponsorships from
Garver, Kimley-Horn, Ardurra, Carollo, CDM Smith, HDR,
Insituform, Super Cover, Armorock and LAN. Thank
you all for attending and your contribution to UCTA and
another successful event!

SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTIONS TO INDUSTRY
Angel Leon selected as recipient of the Water Environment Association of
Texas Sydney L Allison Award
On May 5, 2023, UCTA members gathered at the Laredo Water Museum where
South Sol past president Angel Leon was announced as the recipient of the
Sydney L Allison Award. Leon has contributed heavily to treatment plants in
terms of construction engineering and science over the course of his career. In
his acceptance, he thanked his entire work team for their work and support.
