replaces the DX85R-3, enhancing many of its
predecessor's features.
Powered by a Tier 4-compliant D24 diesel
engine, the DX89R-7 provides increased productivity,
and its auxiliary hydraulic flow remains
readily available for using hydraulic-powered
attachments.
Increased operating weight and a new
counterweight design make the machine more
stable, for greater lifting capacity - especially
when used to lift and place objects such as
pipes, boulders or hardscape materials. The
greater weight also makes DX89R-7's traction
force higher, meaning customers can push
material more efficiently with a dozer blade.
Providing more flexibility, a thumb switch on
the left joystick controls the excavator's boom
swing. This can be helpful in a confined space
when the operator needs to dig next to an
existing structure or obstacle.
DEVELON's newest mini excavator introduces
all-new features for operator comfort and
easy access to everyday maintenance items
like filters, fluids, air cleaner and battery.
" The new 9-metric-ton DX89R-7 excavator
is a bridge between our smaller mini excavators
and our crawler excavators, " said Thomas Lee,
director of product management at DEVELON. " It
gives our customers the flexibility of a mini excavator
with more power and dig depth they may
need, without moving up to a larger machine. "

Draeger's X-am 2800 multi-gas detector for
personal monitoring simultaneously measures
up to four gases. Users can choose sensors for
flammable gases and vapors, as well as oxygen,
carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, nitrogen
dioxide, and sulfur dioxide.
the cloud-based software solution, Dräger Gas
Detection Connect. For efficient fleet management,
the data recorded can also be transferred
directly to Gas Detection Connect using the
Dräger X-dock test station, giving secure access
at any time through an internet browser.
The newly engineered CatEx sensor is shock
resistant and can be configured for flammable
vapors such as gasoline, diesel and nonane, or
for gases like methane, propane and hydrogen.
Moreover, the sensor is especially resistant to
poisonous substances.
Because gas detectors are worn on the body,
carrying comfort and robustness are just as
important as reliability. Thanks to its small size
and low weight, the X-am 2800 can be worn
conveniently on a clip.
Its large buttons make it easy to use while
wearing gloves and the prominent display of the
X-am 2800 features a language-free user interface
and clearly shows important information,
such as gas readings, alarms and the time.
Approved for use in Ex zone 0, the X-am
2800 has also been tested according to protection
class IP68. Confirmed by a drop test, it
withstood a fall of more than 2 meters (6 feet).
It's also compatible with accessories from the
popular Dräger X-am series, including the charger,
X-dock station, and calibration adapter. The
durable Dräger sensors and the rechargeable,
easy-to-replace power supply ensure the device
remains operational for many years.
Moreover, the X-am 2800 was engineered
with sustainability in mind. The technical documentation
and packaging have been designed
to save paper, and Dräger ensures the proper
recycling of disused devices.
Dräger is Founded in 1889, Dräger Group is
an international leader in the fields of medical
and safety technology. Our products protect,
support, and save lives.
Delivering premium performance, the new Cat
950 and 962 Next Generation Wheel Loaders
feature standard, simple-to-use technologies
that boost operator efficiencies, provide consistent
bucket fill factors and increase productivity.
The field-proven, reliable Cat C7.1 engine
offers high power density with a combination of
proven electronics, fuel and air systems.
Equipped with the automatic Cat regeneration
system, the engine meets U.S. EPA Tier
4 Final, EU Stage V, Korea Tier 5 and Japan
2014 emission standards, without interrupting
operation.
Electric fuel priming pump, fuel-water
separator and secondary fuel filter combine with
component design and machine validation to
offer unmatched reliability and uptime.
These flexible loaders enable operators of all
experience levels to be more productive in the
toughest situations. Application-specific profiles
and selectable job aids can be set at the touch
of a button. Wirelessly connecting the machine
to the office, Product Link gives access to production
and essential machine health information
for making fact-based decisions.
Consistently high bucket fill factors, provided
by new Autodig with Auto Set Tires, deliver up to
10-percent more productivity, compared to the
previous models. Single clutch and lock-to-lock
shifting of the 5-speed transmission offers faster
acceleration and speed on grades.
Cat Performance Series Buckets balance
bucket shape against the loader's linkage,
resulting in higher fill factors and better material
retention.
Allowing the machine to move quickly from
task to task, the Cat Fusion Quick Coupler offers
easy tool changes without the operator leaving
the cab. Ongoing filter and fluid costs are up to
30-percent lower on the new models, thanks to
new change intervals.
