Clinical Services In outpatient mental health, we provide a menu of services to assess and treat the mental health needs of individuals and families. Mental health professionals assess and treat based on a bio-psycho-social model of intervention through the creation of individualized treatment plans. Mental health assessment Mental health services begin with a thorough assessment to determine the appropriate care for each individual. The assessment process includes structured clinical interviews and self-report questionnaires. Mental health assessments are provided by highly educated and qualified staff. Individual therapy You will be connected to a mental health professional with the training and experience necessary to address your individual concerns. Your mental health professional will work closely with you to determine the treatment approaches and services to meet your goals. You will formulate a treatment schedule and plan together, and review your progress during your individual sessions. Group therapy Group therapy is facilitated by a mental health clinician and is designed to help participants work on various concerns. These sessions provide psychoeducation, help with skill development and allow you to explore concerns in greater depth. There are a number of different group offerings. Staff will discuss options with you to determine if group participation would be beneficial. Family services Family therapy involves appropriate family members participating in the therapy process for the purpose of promoting the resolution of family distress and the development of healthy family relationships and appropriate parent-child boundaries. Family therapy allows all family members to work together toward family goals. Parent coaching provides support and education regarding emotional and behavioral patterns. Treatment Goals Treatment goals are created from the assessment of clinical concerns. Goals are based on data obtained from clinical observations, new information and changes in status. This provides structure and direction for therapy services while providing accountability for therapist performance. The therapeutic goals are based on empirically supported treatments and strategies to help you obtain the agreed-upon goals for treatment. Common treatment goals include: * Start to live a structured and balanced life. * Improve relationships. * Reduce symptoms that are causing distress. * Improve problem-solving skills. * Build resiliency and increase hope. * Develop healthy strategies for challenging situations. * Improve confidence in coping abilities. 12
