Residential Services Telephone Hazelden Betty Ford respects the right and need for patients to communicate. We offer telephone service as appropriate. Due to the importance of focusing on your treatment, it is necessary that calls be limited. Patients are allowed two 15-minute phone calls a day. There are no phones available for incoming calls; however, patients may receive phone messages at 763-509-3858. Transportation Transportation services are available to patients for discharge, sober-living facilities or medical and dental appointments while at Hazelden Betty Ford. If you have an appointment (medical and dental), the nurse or counselor will make transportation arrangements. However, you must check with staff in advance to confirm departure time. Graduation Patients who successfully complete the treatment program take part in a graduation ceremony with their group or the community (depending on progress). The counselor usually says a few words about the graduate, notes the progress they have made in treatment and shares where the graduate is going when they leave Hazelden Betty Ford. The graduate is presented with a medallion. Graduates may wish to say a few words to the group before leaving. 15
