Working Your Program
Engaging in a recovery lifestyle-including participating in Twelve
Step meetings, reading daily meditations, connecting with a sponsor,
and enjoying sober friends and sober fun-is crucial to avoiding a
return to use. Our continuing care services and recovery support
resources are designed to help you throughout your recovery journey.
Continuing Care Services
Research tells us that engagement in a recovery
lifestyle-including participation in Twelve Step
meetings, reading daily meditations, finding and
regularly connecting with a sponsor and enjoying sober
friends and sober fun-is crucial to avoiding a return
to use. From continuing care services to recovery
retreats and workshops, alumni activities and published
materials, Hazelden Betty Ford provides information and
support throughout a lifetime of recovery
Hazelden Betty Ford's Plymouth campus offers several
types of continuing care services. During the crucial
six-month period following your discharge, while you are
making the transition back into the community, you may
be asked to participate in one or more of these services.
MORE (My Ongoing Recovery Experience) is your
personalized online and phone-based recovery support
program and is a part of your patient portal.
MORE helps individuals work through issues commonly
faced in early recovery by providing the necessary
tools, support and fellowship needed to build a new life.
Individuals learn healthy coping strategies and essential
recovery management plan tools.
The MORE Program includes:
* Recovery workshops, activities and daily inspirations
* Essential recovery management plan content and
interactive tools
* An extensive resource library with articles, videos and
fact sheets
* A connection with the Hazelden Betty Ford
Foundation social communities
* The option to access to your own recovery coach for
personal support
You will create a login to access MORE, and other resources
and tools to support your recovery at the time of admission.
Hazelden Betty Ford Connection™ is designed for
people who need additional support and accountability
in their early recovery. This intensive program is ideal
for people facing legal issues, custody matters and
loss of professional license; for students returning to
college; for people who have been in treatment multiple
times; and for those who need additional support
and accountability in their early recovery. Let your

Alumni services
Hazelden Betty Ford provides patients leaving
treatment with important opportunities to strengthen
recovery. Reunions, chapter meetings, service
opportunities and special events are some of the ways
Hazelden Betty Ford alumni stay connected and move
forward in recovery. Hazelden Betty Ford alumni
are invited to join the private Hazelden Betty Ford
Foundation online Alumni Network to connect with
others who are on a similar journey. Connect with
