RecoveryTrek MobileBAC
The MobileTrek MobileBAC app gives you a simple,
safe and secure way to take control of your recovery no
matter where you are. Take the following steps to active:
Step 1: Log In
Open the MobileTrek app and enter your log in details.
Step 2: Connect MobileBAC Breathalyzer to the
One-Way Mouthpiece
Step 3: Take a Reading
To ensure accurate results, it is important to wait at
least 20 minutes after smoking, eating or drinking.
Click on BAC Test in the menu list at the bottom of the
screen. Click Start BAC Test.
Step 4: Pair the Device
Follow the app's step-by-step prompts. TIP: When the
apps is flashing " Warming Up, " it's a good time to ensure
your face is lined up with the lines on the screen.
Step 5: Blow into the Breathalyzer
When the app prompts, take a deep breath and blow
into your breathalyzer firmly and continuously until
the entire bar is filled in with color. You will be blowing
for about five seconds. TIP: Make sure your hand is not
covering the top of the breathalyzer.
Step 6: Testing Complete
Once your breathalyzer has analyzed the sample, it will
upload your results to RecoveryTrek and notify you via
your mobile device.
PROOF™
PROOF is an integrated technology solution for
observing drug and alcohol testing.
When using the PROOF app to complete your test,
it is best to do so on your phone. If you are unable to
use the Wi-Fi connection, your test may take longer to
complete.
Step 1: To complete your test, you will want to be sure
you have your valid, government-issued photo ID, a ball
point pen and approximately 20 uninterrupted minutes.
You will also want to be sure you have not had any food
or drink 15 minutes prior to starting your test and you
have thoroughly washed your hands with soap and
water. Once you start the testing process you cannot
stop until it's complete. If you receive a phone call or
text message you will need to decline the incoming call
and ignore all text message alerts or PROOF cannot
continue.
Step 2: Sit at a clear workspace with the PROOF Pack
in front of you. The PROOF Pack, as well as you,
the donor, must be in full view of your smartphone
camera at all times. Do not open the PROOF Pack until
instructed.
Step 3: In the PROOF delivery package, you will find a
PROOF phone stand and your PROOF Pack(s). To use
the phone stand, remove it from its packaging and place
your smartphone in it so that it is standing vertically.
TIP: Extra-large phone cases may need to be removed
to fit in the stand. If you are unable to use the stand so
that your smartphone is resting in a vertical position,
you can click the FAQ button on the app's home screen
for additional suggestions.
Step 4: After your phone is setup, use the on-screen
guide to ensure your image and the PROOF Pack are
in clear view of the camera. Remember, it is important
to keep yourself, including your hands and the PROOF
Pack in full view of the camera at all times.
Step 5: Take a picture of your valid government-issued
photo ID. TIP: Be sure to hold your ID so that your
photo is facing the camera while your phone is in the
stand. PROOF will confirm that you have captured the
image properly and instruct you to move to the next
step.
Step 6: Verify the collection device, and PROOF's stepby-step
instructions will guide you through the test
process.
Step 7: If your PROOF Pack contains a Chain of
Custody form, complete it at the end of the collection.
Complete all highlighted fields on the Chain of Custody
form. All names and signatures on the form will be
yours, the participant. Sign and date the donor and
collector signature lines all while staying in view of the
PROOF app. You will also be instructed on the use of
the specimen bag and FedEx mailer.
