Facility Information & Services Hazelden Betty Ford in Hudson is nestled in a beautiful area near the St. Croix River. Please be thoughtful and respectful of our neighbors by parking and smoking in designated areas and keeping the noise level down. Please notify staff of any inappropriate or suspicious behavior or activity that would be a risk to our campus or neighbors. Be observant for animals when walking on the grounds. Pets are not allowed on campus. Books & materials Many of the books and materials used in programming are available through our online bookstore. Visit Hazelden.org/Bookstore to search for materials. Personal electronic devices Wi-Fi Guest Wi-Fi services are available for all patients. Illegal music and media downloads via Hazelden Betty Ford resources put you at risk for legal action and immediate discharge from Hazelden Betty Ford. Studios and production companies monitor illegal downloads daily and pursue legal action when these occur. Cell phones Cell phone use is allowed in and around the building during open times in the schedule. Cell phone use is not allowed while in lecture, group or in any other scheduled programming. If your phone is used during group, it jeopardizes the confidentiality of everyone around you, and it will be placed in storage. Wearables Because of the private and confidential nature of our work in substance use disorder treatment, we are unable to allow wearable technology, which may have audio or video recording capabilities. These features jeopardize our ability to maintain a safe and private therapeutic environment for our patients and their families. If you have any concerns or questions about this specific policy, please contact your counselor. Injuries All injuries should be reported to a staff member immediately. If medical assistance is needed, the staff member will refer you to a local provider or call 911 if an emergency. Lending or borrowing money The lending and borrowing of money between patients is not permitted. Parking & vehicles Hazelden Betty Ford provides parking on our Hudson campus.
