Intended Learners
The International Symposium on Endovascular Therapy (ISET) is designed for interventional
radiologists, vascular surgeons, interventional cardiologists, interventional neuroradiologists,
cardiothoracic surgeons, clinical cardiologists, clinical radiologists, neurologists, internists, nurses,
and others involved in the treatment of cardiovascular disease.
Learning Objectives
After participating in the International Symposium on Endovascular Therapy (ISET), participants
should be able to:
* List evidence-based medicine criteria that reflects the best techniques and devices to treat
cardiovascular disease
* Explain the benefits of medical management and the use of multidisciplinary teams to improve
patient outcomes of endovascular therapy and complex structural heart disease
* Illustrate optimal noninvasive diagnostic techniques to diagnose, plan treatment for, and follow
cardiovascular disease
* Describe principles and techniques of venous intervention including DVT, filters, and dialysis
procedures
* Distinguish the best methods to diagnose and manage patients with critical limb ischemia
* Differentiate advanced techniques and treatment for complex aneurysms
* Compare advanced techniques to treat complex cases of chronic total occlusions
* Contrast the simple and complex arterial access for the performance of diverse endovascular
procedures
* Recognize when and how to apply new techniques to treat aortic dissection

Medical Education (NACCME) is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council
for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for
Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center
(ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
