w w w.BERKSBAR.org Holiday Cheer Served Up Curbside Finding creative ways to keep members connected has been a priority during the pandemic. Even though we could not gather for our traditional holiday celebration, we did team up with Bravo for Rose catering to serve up a little bit of holiday cheer during our Holiday Cheer To-Go event on December 21. It was our pleasure serving meals that were delivered to most members through our curbside service. Executive Director Kori Walter makes another curbside delivery to Lisa Ciotti and the Hon. Mardi Gras Celebration Berks Bar staff Lucy Brito and Rose Johnson take a break from delivering. It's not Mardi Gras without the music! Uptown Band's Erich Cawalla and Jenifer Kinder provided an hour of tunes over Zoom that got folks dancing in their living rooms. 30 | Berks Barrister Members marked Mardi Gras this year by grabbing some Cajun cuisine to-go from Judy's On Cherry and then logged on to a virtual concert by the Uptown Band's Eric Cawalla and Jennifer Kinder. Traffic on Cherry Street was clogged for a bit while members patiently waited for their meals but most agreed the food was worth the wait.
