Calling all members.

Tired of briefs, motions, and
pleadings? Need a break from
answering discovery? Legal
writing can be monotonous,
repetitive and unless you
happen to be Judge Learned
Hand, fairly boring. If you
have ever thought of letting
your creative side shine, the
Writs is your avenue. While

regular contributors have done
an outstanding job providing
informative and entertaining articles over the years, we
would like to remind members of the bar that this is your
publication and you should feel free to submit ideas and
articles at your leisure.

While it is important to provide our readers with all of the
happenings of the legal community, I believe it is equally as
important to provide our members with the creative outlet
that so many of us desire. If you are interested in contributing and have questions, please contact the Writs or the
staff at the BCBA at any time. Your feedback, ideas, and
submissions are always appreciated. 

Perhaps you have a hidden artistic ability that you would
like to share with the world - short stories, photographs,
paintings and the like are always a great way to express
your creativity. Maybe you can draw and have a sense of
humor - I know, a real stretch - and would like to create
your own BCBA comic strip. Have you been to a wedding
at an exotic venue and want to share your experience? Or
maybe you have an interest in traveling the world, movies,
the theater (someone must be able to write a review about
Hamilton), or the very fine foods and many eateries of
Bucks County.

Need a Lawyer?
Welcome to the Bucks County Bar Association's Lawyer Referral and Information Service (LRIS)
serving all of Bucks County. The LRIS is a public service of the non-profit Bucks County Bar Association.
Each year the LRIS responds to thousands of callers, referring them to attorneys with experience in the
appropriate area of law or to area agencies able to provide assistance.
Persons identified as needing legal representation and who do not claim inability to
pay an attorney will be referred by LRIS to a participating attorney. LRIS
participation is open to all Bucks County Bar Association members
having their primary office in Bucks County. You can contact the LRIS at
