together to serve the parties and clear the backlog. Each
case got the attention it needed to be sorted out so that
final orders were entered where appropriate, continuances
were granted if necessary and other matters disposed of in
a way where the parties understood the result. It was an
amazing experience for everyone involved.
I would like to encourage you to volunteer for PFA Court.
If you were a volunteer that day, you are part of a club that
will forever remember "that day." But please, if this inspires
you at all to want to be part of helping others in a world
where everyone needs help... please volunteer on a regular
Wednesday for a regular PFA list. It is still a wonderful way
to do something good with your talents, interact with other
professionals with the same goals, and get yourself in front
of the judges who absolutely appreciate the volunteers
who serve. If you are interested in representing plaintiffs
please contact Randi Riefner at Legal Aid or for defense
representation contact Kristen Norcross at the Bucks County
Bar Association.
