Unprecedented innovation,
community solidarity, and resilience
in the face of the unthinkable.
The Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA)
presented County Bar Recognition Awards
virtually to the Delaware County Bar Association
during the 55th Annual Conference of
County Bar Leaders on February 25, 2021.
The Conference focuses on the exchange
of innovative bar association projects and
ideas, and on the development of mutually
beneficial relationships among bar leaders that
improve the legal profession, justice system or
community.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the business
closures which began in March 2020, association President
Robert F. Kelly, Jr., Esquire, created a COVID-19 Emergency
Committee tasked with ensuring ongoing operations of the
bar association, facilitating communication with the court
and keeping members apprised of judicial procedures and
communicating relevant information to the public.
As a result of the efforts of the committee members, the
association was able to transition immediately to providing
virtual services to its members, and a series of community
education programs was developed and offered to the public at
no cost. The committee continues to function to ensure that the
association serves its members effectively and fulfills its mission.

doors for the opportunity to make a difference ... "
The Community Outreach Committee of the Delaware
County Bar Association, chaired by Magisterial District Justice
Deborah A. Krull, and David E. Robbins, Esquire, developed
a series of virtual events to educate member attorneys and the

general public about relevant topics during the COVID-19
pandemic. These virtual events have been very successful,
and the Community Outreach Committee continues offering
programs in 2021. All virtual events have been recorded and
continue to be available for viewing.
