Congratulations!
The Greater Reading
Chamber Alliance (GRCA)
is pleased to announce that it
has named Aaron Gantz as
Senior Director of Economic
Development. She will be
responsible for management
of business attraction,
business retention and
expansion projects in Greater
Reading. In addition, Gantz
will lead efforts to position
Berks County as the location
of choice for new investments. Gantz will transition
from her current role at GRCA as the Executive
Director of Downtown Development. With established
connections in the Greater Reading community and
beyond, as well as a 2021 strategic plan in hand, Gantz
is ready to hit the ground running. Soon, GRCA will be
hiring a new person to fulfill Gantz's former position
and will continue its commitment to downtown
revitalization.

To help businesses be
prepared and to help
businesses through
potentially catastrophic
times, Barley Snyder
is pleased to announce
it has formed a Crisis
Management Service
Team. Firm partner
Jennifer Craighead
Carey, the chair of the
new group, said the attorneys involved with
the group have always done crisis management
work in their own practices. The new group
pools those resources into one convenient
location.

Barley Snyder welcomes
two former summer
associates as the firm's two
newest attorney hires. Eric
M. Ondo and Katelyn E.
Rohrbaugh started at the
firm as attorneys on Oct. 13,
2020. Both worked at the
firm as summer associates
during the summer of 2019.
" Eric and Katelyn represent
the best and the brightest
of young attorneys joining
the profession after
successfully graduating
law school, " Barley Snyder
managing partner Jeff
Lobach said.

United Way of Berks County raised more than $10.5
million for the 2020 United Way Campaign, which
supports a broad range of 80+ programs, initiative
and grants tackling key issues within the focus areas
of education, financial stability, health and safety net
services. With COVID continuing to create increased
challenges, the dollars raised are needed now more
than ever.

Hawk Mountain Council, Boy Scouts of
America, which provides leadership and character
development programs to youth in Berks and
Schuylkill counties along with the Panther Valley
School District in Carbon County, announced it was
awarded a $5,000 Community Impact Grant from
New York Life.
