Kirsten Balzer Miniscalco and her
husband, Henry, welcomed their first child,
Henry George Miniscalco, into their family
on January 31, 2017. He weighed 8 lbs.,
12 ounces and was 20-3/4 inches long.
Both Kirsten and Baby Henry George are
doing well as is the new Dad! Kirsten is an
associate with Rubin, Glickman, Steinberg
and Gifford, P.C.
Jason G. Donoghue and his wife Ellen
welcomed their two little boys into the
world on May 17, 2017. Jason Gregory
Donoghue, Jr. was born at 12:10 pm and
was joined by Kevin John Donoghue, II at
12:12 pm.

is pleased to announce that Andrew J.
Barron has joined the firm as an associate
in the firm's real estate and banking
sections. Andrew J. Barron is a member of
the firm's real estate and banking sections.
Prior to joining the firm, Andrew was a
law clerk to the Hon. Steven C. Tolliver,
Sr. in the Court of Common Pleas in
Montgomery County.
Kevin G. Amadio has joined Kaplin
Stewart as a Partner in the Construction
and Commercial Litigation group. Prior to
joining Kaplin Stewart, Mr. Amadio was a
Principal at Venzie Phillips & Warshawer.
Kevin's practice at Kaplin Stewart will
include real estate and construction
transactional matters, construction
litigation including contract claims, liens,
construction related statutes, insurance
coverage, and surety bonds, and complex
commercial litigation. Kevin will also
continue his practice as a construction
mediator and arbitrator.

announce that Brian R. Elias has joined

Mark S. Cappuccio served as a
speaker at The Counselors of Real Estate
(CRE) Symposium in Villanova on April
27, 2017. He provided an update on
assessment practices and recent court
decisions.

A. Shearman and Nathan M.
Murawsky recently served on a panel
at "The Intersection of Estates and
Civil Litigation" seminar hosted by the
Pennsylvania Bar Institute. Participants
learned what happens in existing litigation
when a litigant dies, explored wrongful
death and survival actions and the
subsequent consequences on a decedent's
death, and discussed the ethical and
malpractice issues for estate attorneys.

was appointed as a member of the Board
of Directors of the Community Health
& Youth Foundation. The Foundation
is part of the Penn Suburban Chamber
of Commerce, and collaborates with the
business community fostering programs
and activities targeting literacy and wellness
in Greater Montgomery County.
For the second consecutive year, Neil
Andrew Stein participated as a
moderator and speaker at the Mid-Atlantic
Real Estate Journal's Annual Philadelphia
Real Estate Capital Markets Summit
on April 27, 2017. The Summit brings

together commercial real estate leaders and
authorities to discuss current trends in the
commercial real estate capital markets.
Mr. Stein is a co-founder and principal in
the regional law firm of Kaplin, Stewart,
Meloff, Reiter & Stein, PC, where he
represents real estate owners and developers
in land use, transactional, financing and
real estate litigation matters.

amount and scope of educational benefit
that the IDEA requires for students with
disabilities.
