LASP's consumer debt pilot
project seeks pro bono attorneys

egal Aid of Southeastern PA (LASP) extends a heartfelt THANK YOU to the Montgomery
Bar Association and the Montgomery Bar Foundation for their longtime support. We're
humbled by the Bar Association staff and members' efforts to plan the Legal Aid Golf
Classic, and also appreciative of the many sponsors, participants and supporters! The Bar Association
generously matches the funds raised by the Golf Classic. This support, and other contributions from
the Bar Association and the Bar Foundation throughout the year, make it possible for LASP to help
larger numbers of county residents who need legal help.
Nancy Paul, Executive Director of the Montgomery Bar Association, is Past President of
LASP's Board of Directors and continues to serve on LASP's Board of Directors, as do other MBA
members. As part of the Eviction Prevention and Intervention Coalition (EPIC) pilot program,
LASP values the broad-based community partnership with Montgomery Bar, Montgomery County
Dept. of Housing & Community Development, Your Way Home and others.
Whether by organizing the second Access to Justice Summit in May, holding the Golf Classic
or promoting pro bono participation among bar members, the Montgomery Bar Association and
Foundation show their strong commitment to equal justice for all in Montgomery County. Many
