Parks & Recreation vs COVID-19

Just like you and your family, the Parks and
Recreation Department has been fighting the
various challenges brought on by the COVID-19
Pandemic. The pandemic struck just 2 weeks before
our Spring Special Event Season was scheduled
to begin and required us to cancel the DaddyDaughter Dance, the Easter Egg Hunt, both Trout
Rodeos and the Golf Tournament. What most of
us thought would be a short battle turned into a
much longer struggle which led to the eventual
cancellation of the Summer Playground Program
and our youth team sports programs, and delayed
the start of our summer programming and pavilion
rental seasons.
As the battle rages on, the Department continues
to develop new programs, adapt existing programs
and try to plan for an uncertain future. At the time
of the brochure's publication, the future of these
programs and events was too uncertain to print:

* Easter Egg Hunt
* Senior Trout Rodeo
* Youth Trout Rodeo
* Summer Playground Program
We hope to have more information on these
programs by March 1st, 2021.

Park facilities continue to be open and available
for your enjoyment. Social distancing
and face coverings are recommended.

facilities will be operated in accordance
with the current CDC and Department
of Health recommendations.
