As a solid Gen-Xer, I tend to eschew popular trends
particularly when said trends appear to add nothing
useful to my existence. One such trend that failed
to launch for me is...The Cocoa Bomb. The tale
begins at Christmas as my friend drops off a tin of
homemade holiday delights. On December 29...well,
I'll let the Facebook posts speak for itself. Please

edited for hilarity and posters kept anonymous lest I
be subjected to additional ridicule:
(Me) Cocoa bomb fail. Did not know you are
supposed to drop them in hot milk...perhaps if I
consulted the interweb...

into it & cocoa powder went all over the coffee

(Friend) ... I'm laughing at the husband biting into
the hot cocoa bomb
(Me) yes! And now he won't let me throw away the
rest of it... " it's a waste of all that cocoa! "

her defense, she also included in the holiday card
accompanying the treat:
