ADDED Value to Your Membership
PBA Benefits
Pennsylvania Builders Association (PBA)
offers several benefits to help add value to
your membership. Here are several of those
benefits and savings that you may be missing
out on. Benefits and savings can be found on
the PBA website www.pabuilders.org.
PA One Call Annual Fees Covered
You may be aware of the PA One Call
which requires you, by state law, to contact
8-1-1 or www.paonecall.org as you prepare
to excavate. PBA members have their annual
$125 fee covered through their membership.
The process is very easy... just forward your
invoice to info@hbaberks.org where your
membership is confirmed, and your invoice
is sent directly to PBA for payment. There
are no additional invoices for services used
throughout the calendar year, regardless how
often you use it. Repeat the process the first
time you dig the next calendar year.
The Member Rebate Program
This program sends you quarterly, loyalty
rebate checks when you purchase products
from leading manufacturers that you may
already be using in your homes, remodels, or
multi-family units. Approximately 70% of
the Builders & Remodelers who participated
last year, nationwide, made MORE back after
REBATES than they spent on dues to their
HBA. Sounds like a lot of work - NOT AT
ALL! The program administrators do all the
paperwork and mail you a quarterly rebate
check directly. You do not need to change how
you purchase anything and do not need to
submit receipts. It could not be any easier! The
average rebate per Builder/Remodel Company
is $1,472.55. Participation more than pays for
the Berks Membership dues.
The NAHB Benefits
The National Association of Home Builders
(NAHB) also offers several benefits that can
help you pay for your membership over time
with the savings that you receive. Here are a
few of those benefits and savings that you may
be missing. Benefits and savings can be found
on the NAHB website www.nahb.org.
General Motors Fleet Purchase Program
As one of the major automotive
manufacturers of the National Association of
Home Builders (NAHB), General Motos is
pleased to extend this private offer of $500 or
$1000 toward the purchase or lease of most
new GM vehicles to association members. Just
visit your local Chevrolet, Buick, or GMC
dealer, choose an eligible vehicle, and present
your NAHB Proof of Membership form.

The National Purchasing Partners Program
NPP or National Purchasing Partners can
benefit all members... not just builders. Save
on products for your business and employees
through your association's partnership with
NPP. Membership is free. Some of the business
partners are Verizon, Batteries & Bulbs,
Sherwin-Williams, Office Depot, Sketchers,
Unifirst & Staples, to name a few, and you can
receive savings or discounts whether it's the
first time or every time you make a purchase.
These savings can add up and also offset the
cost of your membership.
All of the above, and more, can be found
