Safety Components Fabric Technologies Inc. (SCFTI) is a
vertically integrated, multifaceted manufacturer of high
performance technical fabrics. Located on 22 acres in
Greenville, S.C., SCFTI's 800,000 square-foot facility contains
all manufacturing, testing and warehousing functions.
Our patented outdoor fabric, WeatherMAX®, changed the marine
cover market by providing a highly fade-resistant, long-lasting
fabric that outperforms acrylic and solution-dyed polyester fabrics.
It has proven that a fabric can be strong without weight, breathable
yet highly resistant to water, rugged yet still providing the beautiful,
rich appearance that today's boater expects. Made from solutiondyed Satura©Max yarns, WeatherMAX is dimensionally stable and
strong and the HydroMax finish repels water and dirt. Ideal for
bimini tops, mooring and playpen covers, trailerable covers and
other applications that are subject to prolonged sun exposure.
With our newest marine fabric, we are again changing the
expectation of marine fabricators. BreakWater X® is an
advanced alloy-coated enclosure and top fabric that will not
crack or peel, even after prolonged exposure to the elements.
SCFTI also manufactures technical fabrics for firefighter turnout
gear, soft armor, air bags and other demanding end products.

Sattler Corp. is a member of the Sattler AG family of international
companies. Located in Hudson, N.C., the "Hudson Mill" facility is
a centralized location for servicing its customers in the Americas.
Sattler AG, headquartered in Graz, Austria, is a family-owned
company dating back to 1875. A leader in European performance
textile manufacturing, Sattler AG entered the U.S. market in
1982, and in 2011, started its U.S.-based weaving by acquiring
the Hudson Mill from Shuford Mills, founders of the Outdura
brand of solution-dyed acrylic. Today, Sattler Corp. produces
solution-dyed acrylic fabric for its two brands: Sattler-brand
60" awning and marine fabric and Outdura-brand 54" casual
furniture fabric. The complete range of Sattler AG sun protection
fabrics (47" awning, Firemaster, 745 series) is also stocked and
distributed through the Hudson warehouse. Sattler's textiles meet
the highest requirements in function, reliability, durability and
ecological responsibility.
