Registration opens for IFAI Expo

Tent Expo 2021 postponed to 2022

Registration is open for IFAI Expo, set for Nov. 3-6, 2020, in Indianapolis, Ind. Safety
protocols are in place and will be coordinated with host hotels and the Indiana Convention
Center (ICC). IFAI has worked closely with the ICC to adjust plans, according to the
health department's recommended maximum capacity per room and area based on
venue square footage. Attendees can expect safety measures such as hand-sanitizing
stations, touchless bathroom fixtures, onsite medical facilities and immediate response
protocols. In addition to the show floor, there will be 50+ hours of education, multiple
networking events, the Advanced Textiles Conference, expert industry speakers and
recognition of 100-year-old companies. And a new virtual component has been added!
This hybrid event will run alongside the in-person event, allowing attendees to experience
the same exciting events, show floor, education and networking from the comfort of

Mehler Texnologies
joins Freudenberg Group

The industrial protective clothing market
worldwide is projected to grow by US$11.2
billion, driven by a compounded growth of
13.5%, according to ResearchAndMarkets.
com's report "Industrial Protective Clothing-
Global Market Trajectory & Analytics."
Durable, one of the segments analyzed and
sized in the study, displays the potential
to grow more than 12.7% and is poised to
reach more than US$10.2 billion by the
year 2025. The U.S. will maintain a 12%
growth momentum while China exhibits
the potential to grow at 17.2% over the next
couple of years.

Group with the latter's acquisition of the Low
& Bonar Group. The Freudenberg Group is a

Tent Expo 2021 has been postponed to
January 2022. According to Michael
Tharpe, Tent Rental Division (TRD)
chairman, "It is in the best interest of
both our rental and vendor members
to postpone. This will give us time to
reflect and move toward the future
with the way we do business." TRD
continues to create programming
to keep the association strong by
providing members with the latest tools
for navigating the pandemic, such as
proper cleaning techniques and other
business recommendations.

Frasca joins MiniFIBERS
T. Scott Frasca has joined MiniFIBERS Inc. as
technical sales representative. Frasca has a background
in management, account management and technical
service roles, with a demonstrated ability to build
relationships at all levels of organizations: commercial,
technical and operational. In the new position, he will
solve customers' technical needs in the papermaking,
wetlaid nonwovens and specialty applications markets.

Heytex appoints Kampsen
ZDHC Foundation releases CMS Framework

Heytex has appointed Fabian Kampsen as its new
commercial director. Kampsen has been with Heytex
since 2011 and was market manager for HEYsign
business center of large format printable textiles. In
his new role, Kampsen will lead the global sales and

toward a customer-focused, reliable and sustainable
partner, and he will help maneuver sales through the
challenging times of COVID-19.
