NEW Blasters Stipend Program
The Blasters Stipend Program was created
by ISEE Leaders who recognize the
cost to get important training can be prohibitive.
As such, 2025 is the inaugural year
of the Blasters Stipend Program where individuals
can request financial reimbursement
for attending a job-related program
that will improve their knowledge, skill,
and ability in their current and future roles
in the explosives industry. This program is
housed in the SEE Education Foundation.

2025 - Your Best Year of ISEE
Membership
The leaders who founded the International
Society of Explosives Engineers
(then known as the Society of Explosives
Engineers), recognized the value of bringing
industry professionals together to share
regional best-practices in order to create a
safer and innovative environment from
which everyone could learn regardless of
their location.
Our early leaders created the format
that still exists today: regional chapters,
meetings, educational programs, and
gatherings for individuals to network with
others who share the same passion for our
industry.
As we turn the calendar into 2025,
this commitment still exists and lives on
through our mission " to enhance the
safety, science, skill, and benefits of explosives
engineering, worldwide. " Today,
you can interact with members from
across the world, get access to standards,
best practices, and over 100,000 technical
papers, choose from webinars, on-line
training, on-demand videos from the ISEE
2024 Conference in Savannah, GA, and
of course the ISEE Blasters' Handbook and
other educational materials.
In 2025, we will be adding new and updated
services and benefits:
ment, analysis of ground vibrations and air
overpressures, as well as monitoring report
preparation.
The program is designed and presented
by renowned monitoring industry leaders
demonstrating seismograph use to ensure
accurate and representative measurements
to evaluate blast performance and meet
regulated compliance limits. The 3-hour
training concludes with a 30-minute test.
Certificates of completion are awarded to
those achieving a 75% or better passing
score.
In addition to debuting at the 2025
ISEE Annual Conference, ISEE will be looking
to incorporate this " live " program
throughout the ISEE Chapter network, as
a stand-alone training where we do not
have existing Chapters, and a regular part
of future ISEE Conferences.
NEW ISEE On-Demand Videos
ISEE is launching four On-Demand
Videos. Each video contains three technical
presentations given during the 2024
ISEE Annual Conference in Savannah, GA.
While these videos do not qualify for state
training or retraining credits, they provide
great information to add to your knowledge
and understanding.
UPDATED ISEE Online Certificate
Programs
ISEE Members can look forward to
updated on-line certificate programs on
ISEE's learning management portal where
you can view, take the quiz, and receive
your certificate for passing the program.
This is possible due to the Society of Explosives
Engineers Education Foundation.
Finally, ISEE membership dues remain
unchanged since 2023. Our goal is to add
deliverables without asking members to
pay more. We are committed to providing
the products, programs, and services to
advance our mission, industry, members,
and stakeholders.
Our content is available through many
different channels: The ISEE Conference,
Chapters, Online, On-Demand, the ISEE
Journal, ISEE Website, and Boombox - the
ISEE e-Newsletter. We encourage you to
join an ISEE Chapter, renew or join ISEE,
participate in one or more of our Sections,
and actively participate on one of our
Committees.
