The International Society of Explosives Engineers will hold
its 51st Annual Conference on Explosives and Blasting Technique
January 21 - 26, 2025, at Harrah's Cherokee Resort and
Casino in Cherokee, North Carolina.
As many as 1,700 blasters, manufacturers, government officials
and suppliers from all over the world will gather for this
conference to gain new insights, ideas, and form new business
alliances.
This annual networking event is the premier international
forum for the hands-on explosives user. The 2025 program
will showcase advances in explosives during three days of
technical sessions, two days of blasters training, four days in
the exhibit hall showcasing the latest products and services,
fact-filled poster session, educational programs, and special
events.
Wednesday will begin with the Chapter Management
Workshop and Breakfast, committee meetings, Seismograph
Operators Certificate Program, Student Industry Connection,
Welcome Reception in the exhibit hall, and the Emerging Professionals
Social.
Thursday begins with the Opening General Session including
awards and the top two papers, followed by technical sessions,
the exhibit hall, clays shoot, Untold Stories - Industry
Highlights and History, and ends with the International Reception.
Friday
is the opening of the first day of Blasters Training.
Friday also includes a second day of technical sessions, exhibit
hall, Regulatory Panel Discussion, and the popular Video
Round-up.
Saturday will begin with a third day of technical sessions, a
second full day of blasters training, exhibit hall, poster session,
and the All-Clear Cheers and Beers Bash.
